Meatpacking Bill of Rights

Workers in the meatpacking industry are entitled to certain fundamental rights for the purpose of establishing minimum workplace guidelines for workers in the meatpacking industry. These rights are in addition to all other rights provided by state or federal law. To ensure that employers are complying with the Meatpacking Industry Workers Bill of Rights, the coordinator performs inspections at facilities throughout the state.
