Real Property Appraiser Board - NRPAB
Description:
There are four real property appraiser classifications (certified general, certified residential, licensed residential, and trainee) established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation in the Real Property Appraiser Qualifications Criteria as authorized by Title XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989. In addition, Title XI promulgates that Supervisory Real Property Appraiser qualifications are also established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation, and that a State appraiser certifying or licensing agency shall recognize on a temporary basis the certification or license of an appraiser issued by another State if the property to be appraised is part of a federally related transaction, the appraiser’s business is of a temporary nature, and the appraiser registers with the appraiser certifying or licensing agency in the State of temporary practice. The goal of the filing is to obtain a credential as a real property appraiser to engage in real property appraisal practice in the State of Nebraska.
