The Nebraska Seed Law requires that any person who labels for sale in Nebraska any agricultural, vegetable, or flower (wildflower) seed shall be required to obtain a seed permit. The annual registration fee for this permit is based on the number of pounds of seed the applicant labeled and sold during the preceding calendar year. Permits are required to be renewed on or before January 1 of each year.
