Water Well Registration (Only licensed water well contractors and well owners may file these)

Water well registrations are used to provide location and construction information that is then utilized in many ways. In part the information supplied is used by state and local entities to protect the groundwater from contamination and regulate how the water resource is shared when the supply is not adequate for all users. The registration information is also used for water planning and scientific research and analysis which is geared toward improving water quality and improving efficient use of groundwater.
